"As I jumped off the train I said dear God help me and protect me.  Guardian Angel protect me... and I did not even have a sprained ankle, a cactus thorn, or anything... and I was in my early 70s, that was about 10 years ago."

Dr. Richard Cashion recalls with Trey Cashion how he and his wife Cindy truly needed their guardian angels on a train trip in New Mexico.  This is a harrowing story of recurring risk, peril, and injury in which their guardian angels had to be on their "A-game" to protect both Dr. Cashion and his wife Cindy!  The episodes led Dr. Cashion to pray that he come to know his guardian angel personally, which he was able to do so through a dream.  A life of full of incidents and episodes were recalled by both hosts, and how we need to cooperate with our angels was discussed.

"Pam came by to see me . . . and I'm not afraid of death anymore."

In the medical field, there is a common misconception that death is the enemy that needs to be defeated. However, according to Dr. Richard Cashion and Trey Cashion, from a Catholic perspective, the role of a physician in caring for terminally ill patients is to assist them in preparing for a good death. Our two hosts delve into personal stories that include Pam Cashion's spiritual strength in facing her own impending death, and how she helped others face their own.
